“To participate in the humanistic nature of helping other people in need which is done through cooperation and initiative”. The College of Hotel Tourism and Management Student Body Organization together with the Faculty members participated in the conduction of the annual Red Cross Blood Letting in coordination with Bombo Radyo Station with the theme Dugong Bombo held at the Malcolm Square last November 18, 2017.

“To provide free macaroni soup to the blood donors to help restore nutrients lost after donating blood and to distribute promotional tool (bookmark) to advertise the CHTM department and the University as a whole” are some of the outreach’s objective. The CHTM were able to distribute 350 cups of macaroni soup to at least 300 plus life savers (blood donors).

Respondents from the CHTM department were Ms. Christine Palukpok, Ruth Claire Waclin, Angelo Bayacsan, SB Officers and the College Dean Ms. Jocelyn Ang.

The program was done college wide. Cooking was handled by the Culinary and Nutrition Class while the distribution was shouldered by the CHTM SBO and tourism students.
